Triaxel Triangle Color Numbers · Last updated: October 19, 2026

Traista Rafael built the Triaxel app as a Free app with optional in-app purchases and optional advertising. This SERVICE is provided by Traista Rafael and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions unless otherwise defined here.

Information Collection and Use

The core colouring experience works fully offline. Your content and progress — the canvases you colour, your settings, and your purchase state — are stored locally on your device and are not collected by me or uploaded to any server. The only exception is a canvas you choose to colour together with friends in the optional multiplayer mode, described below.

The app uses Google Firebase for two features:

  • Anonymous usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase), which helps me understand how the app is used so I can improve it, and shows me how well my own ads for Triaxel work.
  • Multiplayer mode (“Color together with friends”, on the Friends screen), which uses Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database. It only collects information if you choose to use it.

The app also offers two optional third-party features from Google — rewarded advertising and in-app purchases — that may collect information, described below.

The app never asks for your real name, email address, phone number, or password, does not access your contacts, photos, or device location, and does not send push notifications.

Anonymous Usage Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous statistics about how it is used — for example, which canvases are popular, how often canvases are finished, and how often the multiplayer mode is used. I use this information to understand and improve the app, and to measure how well my own ads for Triaxel work (see “Measuring my ad campaigns” below).

The information collected is:

  • A random app-instance identifier, generated by Firebase when the app is installed. It does not identify you personally, and it is reset when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
  • App activity: app launches; opening, finishing, or restarting a canvas (with the canvas name, its category, and how far along it was); starting, finishing, or closing a rewarded ad; and playing a canvas alone or with friends (and whether you were the host or a guest).
  • Totals: how many canvases you have finished, and how many solo and multiplayer games you have played.
  • Information the Firebase SDK collects automatically, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate location (country, region, or city, derived from your IP address), how long the app is used, when the app was first opened, and how you found it (for example, the ad campaign that led to the install, if any).

Analytics data is not linked to your multiplayer username, and it never includes your name, email address, or anything you create in the app. Collection of the device advertising identifier (the Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA) is turned off for analytics, and analytics data is not used for ad personalisation.

Measuring my ad campaigns. I sometimes promote Triaxel with ads through Google Ads. To see whether those ads work, the app's analytics is linked to my Google Ads account: when someone installs and opens the app after tapping one of my ads, Google Ads can count that install as a result of the ad. I only see totals, such as how many installs an ad campaign brought; I cannot see who you are. This is used only to measure my own ads. It is not used to show you personalised ads, and the advertising identifier is still not collected. It is separate from the optional rewarded ads shown inside the app (see “Advertising” below).

Your consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form when it starts, and you decide there. The analytics identifier is only stored on your device if you agree to analytics, and your analytics data is only used to measure my ad campaigns if you also agree to Google's advertising purposes. If you don't agree to analytics, Google Analytics only receives basic signals that carry no identifier. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy choices. Outside these regions no consent form is shown, and analytics, including the ad campaign measurement, is turned on. Ad personalisation of analytics data stays off everywhere.

Analytics events are stored on your device and sent when an internet connection is available. The app never waits for them, so it keeps working fully offline. Analytics data is processed and retained by Google according to its own policies and the data retention settings of the app's analytics property.

Multiplayer Mode (Friends)

The multiplayer mode lets you colour a canvas live together with up to 4 friends. It is entirely optional: if you never open the Friends screen, the app does not connect to the multiplayer service and none of the information in this section is collected.

No account, just a username

When you open the Friends screen, the app signs in to Firebase Authentication anonymously. This creates a random user identifier for this installation of the app; you are not asked for an email address, phone number, password, or any other sign-in details. To play, you then choose a username (6–20 letters, numbers, or underscores). Please don't use your real name or any other personal information in your username.

What is stored on the server

To make the multiplayer mode work, the following is stored in Firebase Realtime Database, hosted by Google in the United States:

  • Your anonymous user identifier, your username, and the date you created it.
  • Your friends list, the friend requests you have sent and received, and the users you have blocked. When you decline a friend request, a note is also kept so that the same person can't send you another request for 24 hours.
  • Your online status: whether the app is currently open, and whether you are in a colouring session.
  • Session invites between you and your friends, including when they were sent and whether they were declined.
  • While a shared session is running: which canvas is being coloured, its colours, the usernames of the participants, and which participant coloured each triangle.

Who can see it

  • There is no public list, directory, or search of usernames. Someone can only find you by typing your exact username, so friends need to share their usernames with each other outside the app.
  • A person you send a friend request to sees your username. Your friends can see your username and whether you are online or in a session.
  • Only the people taking part in a shared session can see that session's canvas and who coloured what.
  • These limits are enforced by security rules on the server, not only by the app.

Only while the app is open

The multiplayer mode does not use push notifications. Friend requests and invites appear only while the app is open, and a session only works while everyone in it has the app open. If you leave the app or lose your connection for more than about a minute, you are disconnected from the session.

Your controls

  • You can decline any friend request or session invite.
  • You can remove any friend at any time. This removes the friendship for both of you.
  • You can block a user from their friend request. A blocked user can't send you friend requests again; their requests are simply refused.
  • You can disconnect from a session at any time. The host of a session can also disconnect any participant or end the session for everyone.
  • You can delete your multiplayer profile at any time (see “Deleting Your Data” below).

How long it is kept

Shared session data is deleted from the server when the session ends. Your online status is cleared when you close the app or lose your connection. Your username, friends list, friend requests, and blocks are kept until you delete your profile. The progress of a shared canvas is saved only on the host's device, like any other canvas; it is not kept on the guests' devices.

Deleting Your Data

Multiplayer profile. You can delete your multiplayer profile from inside the app: open the Friends screen and tap Delete my profile. This permanently deletes from the server your username, profile, friends list (including your entry in your friends' lists), friend requests, blocks, invites, online status, and the anonymous account itself. Your username is released and may later be chosen by someone else. This cannot be undone.

Because there is no login, a profile can't be recovered after the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared. If you uninstalled the app without deleting your profile, or you can't delete it from the app, email me at traista.rafael@yahoo.com with your username and I will delete it.

Analytics data. Analytics data is not linked to your identity, so I cannot find or retrieve the data of a particular person. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data resets the anonymous app-instance identifier, and data already collected is deleted by Google at the end of the analytics retention period.

Data on your device. Your colouring progress and settings stay on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. You can also reset any canvas from inside the app.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app offers optional rewarded advertisements. You are never required to watch an ad to use the app; ads are shown only when you choose to watch one in exchange for a reward.

When you choose to view an ad, Google AdMob may collect and process information such as device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, and information about your interaction with the ad in order to serve and measure advertising. This data is handled by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Google AdMob / Google Play Services Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the consent form shown when the app starts also lets you decide whether Google may use your data for personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy choices.

On iOS, the app asks whether it may track you (App Tracking Transparency). AdMob can only use your device's advertising identifier if you allow it, and you can change this at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

You can limit ad personalisation through your device's advertising settings (for example, "Opt out of Ads Personalisation" or resetting your Advertising ID in your Android settings).

In-App Purchases (Google Play / App Store)

The app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock all canvases. Refunds are handled by the store you bought it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store) under its own policies. On Android, a purchase refunded/reverted through the Google Play Store restores the app to its free state.

All payments are processed by Google Play's billing system on Android and by Apple's App Store on iOS. I do not receive, collect, or store your payment card details or other financial information. Google and Apple process payment and purchase information under their own privacy policies.

Service Providers

The app relies on the following third-party services, which may have access to limited information as described above in order to provide their functionality:

  • Google Play Services
  • Google AdMob (advertising)
  • Google Play Billing (in-app purchases on Android)
  • Apple App Store (in-app purchases on iOS)
  • Google Analytics for Firebase (anonymous usage analytics)
  • Google Ads (measuring the ads I run for Triaxel)
  • Firebase Authentication (anonymous sign-in for the multiplayer mode)
  • Firebase Realtime Database (multiplayer mode)

These third parties are obligated to handle any information they receive in accordance with their own privacy policies. Google may process this information on servers outside your country, including in the United States.

Security

I value your trust. Your colouring progress stays on your device. Information used by Firebase and the other Google services above is sent over encrypted connections and stored and secured by Google. For the multiplayer mode, security rules on the server let each piece of data be read only by the people who need it — for example, only your friends can see your online status, and only the participants of a session can see its canvas. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to Other Sites

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by me. Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided personal information through the app or the third-party services listed above, please contact me so that I can take the necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

This policy is effective as of 2026-10-19.
